OpenNebula Systems

OpenNebula Systems is an international software company that develops and provides commercial support for the open source cloud management platform OpenNebula. The company was first established in 2010 as C12G Labs.[1] Based in Madrid (Spain), the company was founded by the original developers of OpenNebula.[2] In October 2014, C12G announced that it would change its name to OpenNebula Systems, associating itself more closely with its product.[3] In May 2015, OpenNebula Systems created a subsidiary in the US.[4] OpenNebula Systems USA, LLC is located in Burlington, Massachusetts. In September 2019, OpenNebula Systems announced that the company had been awarded €2.1M from the EU Horizon 2020 SME Instrument program to assist in the development and productization of ONEedge, a project to bring the private cloud to the edge through cloud disaggregation.[5] In November 2019, the company moved its Madrid HQ to La Finca Business Park.
