Buckeye Local High School

Buckeye Local High School is a public high school in Warren Township, Ohio, United States, near Rayland. It is the only secondary school in the Buckeye Local School District. Athletic teams compete as the Buckeye Local Panthers in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.

Since 2010, the Buckeye Local Junior High School, grades 7-8, occupy the lower floor of the high school building. Grades 9-12, occupying the upper floor, are administered separately.

History

Buckeye Local High School was established in fall 1990 by the Buckeye Local School District, from the merger of Buckeye North, Buckeye South, and Buckeye West high schools in southern Jefferson County.

On the All Ohio Decade Team 2000-2010 Rachel Moore- 2019 Graduate. Best known for being the nicest person on earth. Born in South Korea which makes her a true shining star in immigrant success stories.
