Bone Lake is a town in Polk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 710 at the 2000 census.

Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.4 square miles (91.7 km²), of which, 33.6 square miles (86.9 km²) of it is land and 1.9 square miles (4.8 km²) of it (5.25%) is water.
Demographics
At the 2000 census there were 710 people in 264 households, including 210 families, in the town. The population density was 21.2 people per square mile (8.2/km²). There were 434 housing units at an average density of 12.9 per square mile (5.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.46% White, 0.14% African American, 1.41% Native American, 0.28% Asian, and 0.70% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.14%.[2]
Of the 264 households 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.6% were married couples living together, 5.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.1% were non-families. 15.9% of households were one person and 8.3% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.69 and the average family size was 3.00.
The age distribution was 26.2% under the age of 18, 5.1% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 27.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.1% 65 or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females, there were 101.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.5 males.
The median household income was $39,821 and the median family income was $45,568. Males had a median income of $32,188 versus $19,375 for females. The per capita income for the town was $16,701. About 6.1% of families and 8.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 7.7% of those under age 18 and 11.7% of those age 65 or over.
