Bobby Ginn

Edward Robert "Bobby" Ginn III is the Chairman and CEO representing several of the Ginn Family Companies, over 200 family owned companies from developing to the management of these companies, and partner of a merged NASCAR Nextel Cup team Ginn Racing (formerly MB2 Motorsports, which he purchased from MB2 owner Nelson Bowers, Jr. in 2006) and formed by developer Thomas Ginn.[1]

The Ginn Family have designed and built many resorts and communities in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Vermont, Colorado, Bahamas and Saint Thomas. The notable resorts and communities include RiverTowne Country Club in SC, Hilton Head Island in SC, Hammock Beach Resort in FL, Reunion Resort in FL, Quail West in FL, Tesoro in FL, Bella Collina in Florida, Laurelmor in North Carolina, Cobblestone Park in South Carolina, and more are in the pipeline.

Ginn Racing, formed by developer Thomas Ginn, merged with Dale Earnhardt, Inc. on July 25, 2007 to form a four-car team that would debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard.[2]

The Ginn Family have sponsored several professional Ginn Events from Ginn Golf, Ginn Concerts, Ginn Racing through Ginn Sports Entertainment. These events include the Ginn Championship at Hammock Beach Resort, the Ginn Open at Ginn Reunion, Florida Resort, the Ginn sur Mer Classic at the Ginn Conservatory, and the Ginn Tribute Hosted by Annika at Rivertowne.

The Big Break VII: Reunion at Reunion aired on the Golf Channel in 2007 and featured competitors from past seasons competing for PGA and LPGA tour exemptions at Ginn Reunion Resort.[3]
