Between the Heart and the Synapse
Between the Heart and the Synapse is the first album from Boston, Massachusetts-based band The Receiving End of Sirens, released in 2005 on Triple Crown Records. Between is considered a concept album due to its repetition of lyrical and musical motifs in an effort to unify the body of work as a whole.

Release
The album had singles and videos of the songs "Planning A Prison Break" and "This Armistice". Their debut single received a moderate amount of airplay on MTVU and Fuse. In late 2010, a double LP of the album was released that includes a brand new song and live videos from Skatefest' that same year. Between late March and early May 2006, the band went on a headlining tour of the US.[1]
