Benedict Hall
Benedict Hall (abbreviated BEN) is a building located on the South Mall of the University of Texas at Austin campus, in Austin, Texas, United States.[1][2] The five-floor, 38,580 square foot building is located along 21st Street, near Littlefield Fountain.[1][3]

History
Built in 1951 and named after mathematics professor and university president H. Y. Benedict, the building was completed in 1952 and was originally home to the Department of Mathematics.[4][5] It has also been used for the psychology department.[6]
