Bear Valley, Nevada County, California
Bear Valley is a former settlement in Nevada County, California. Situated at an elevation of 4,570 ft (1,390 m) above sea level,[1] it still appeared on maps as of 1902.[1] Bear Valley Campground in the beautiful Northern Sierra Nevada, is a great place to go if you love nature with its few amenities restrooms and tap water, its a place worth visiting to feast your eyes on its beauty. White water paddling and fishing are an excellent activity here if camping may not suit you.[2] Found in moist environments the beautiful Hesperochiron Californicus Benth can be found in Bear Valley.[3]
