Bashir Abdi

Bashir Abdi (born 10 February 1989 in Mogadishu) is a Somali-Belgian athlete who specialises in long-distance running. He entered the 10,000 m 2014 European athletics championships with the European leading time set on the 4th of May.[1][2][3]

In May 2015 Abdi qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics.[4]

In August 2018 Abdi won silver in the 10,000 meters at the 2018 European Athletics Championships.[5]
