Ayane Kurihara

Ayane Kurihara (栗原 文音, born 27 September 1989) is a Japanese badminton player. She began playing badminton at age 9, and played competitively from then on. She became a member of the Japan national badminton team at the age of 19.[1] Her current partner is Naru Shinoya for women's doubles and Kohei Gondo for mixed doubles. Kurihara competed with her former partner Kenta Kazuno in the mixed doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.[2]

BWF World Tour (1 title, 1 runner-up)

The BWF World Tour, announced on 19 March 2017 and implemented in 2018,[4] is a series of elite badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). The BWF World Tour are divided into six levels, namely World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300 (part of the HSBC World Tour), and the BWF Tour Super 100.[5]
