Anton Dukach

Anton Dukach (born July 30, 1995, in Lviv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian luger. He is participant of the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Career

At the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, Anton Dukach finished 4th having lost 0.022 sec to German athlete who was third. In team relay he was 7th. He was also the flagbearer of Ukraine at the Games.

Anton's first World Cup season was in 2012-13.

Dukach participated at 2016 World Championships finishing 30th in singles event and 13th in team competition. As of January 2018, Dukach's best Luge World Cup finish was 24th in 2017-18 in Oberhof, Germany. On December 27, 2017, Anton qualified for 2018 Winter Olympics.[1] At the Olympics he finished 23rd in singles' race and 13th in team relay.

Personal life

Anton studied computer security at Lviv Polytechnic.[2][3] His hobbies are football and music.
