Anga Express
The Anga Express is a train connecting Bhagalpur (BGP), the second largest city of Bihar, to Yeswanthpur (YPR) in Bangalore, via Munger's Jamalpur Junction, Kolkata's Howrah station, Bhubaneswar and Vijayawada. In February 2017, the train was provided with the new LHB coaches.[1]

It is a weekly train from Bhagalpur to Bangalore via Jamalpur (Munger), Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar.
History
The Anga Express was introduced because of the growing demand for a train service from the Anga region of India Bangalore. Many of the software professionals working in Bangalore were from the districts of Munger and Bhagalpur. Prior to the Anga Express, they used to travel to Bangalore on the Sanghamithra Express or the Howrah-Yeshvantpur express.
Timing
12253 - Starts from Bangalore every Saturday at 13:30 HRS IST and reach Bhagalpur Jn Monday at 8:45 AM IST
12254 - Starts from Bhagalpur every Wednesday and reach Yesvantpur Jn on Friday at 9:05 AM IST.
Reverse
Train reverse in Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Kolkata (Howrah) and Kiul Junction Bihar (Kiul).
