Altensteig
Altensteig (German pronunciation: [ˈaltn̩ʃtaɪk]) is a town in the district of Calw, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated in the eastern Black Forest, 18 km southwest of Calw, and 19 km northeast of Freudenstadt.

Gerhard Feeß (CDU) was elected mayor in February 2009 with 52,41 % of the votes.[2]

Altensteig is well known for its picturesque medieval townscape and for the Christophorus-Kantorei Altensteig, an internationally renowned youth choir.[3]
