Alice Wright (born November 3, 1994 in Worcester, England) is a Great Britain-born long distance runner.

Professional

In July 2018, Alice Wright moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to train under coach Ben Rosario at Northern Arizona Elite.

In August 2018, Wright placed 6th while representing Team GB, Great Britain, England, United Kingdom at 2018 European Athletics Championships in 10,000 metres.[1]

NCAA

In college, Wright was an 11-time NCAA Division I All-American (8-1st Team, 3-2nd Team) at University of New Mexico.[3]

In 2017, the New Mexico Lobos women's cross country won NCAA Division I cross country team title with individual winner Ednah Kurgat 1st (19:19.5). Weini Kelati placed 7th (19:35.77), Charlotte Prouse placed 12th (19:48.93), Alice Wright placed 14th (19:49.73), Alondra Negrón Texidor placed 85th (20:36.67), Alex Buck placed 105th (20:44.88) and Kieran Casey placed 123rd (20:54.21). The 2017 team was University of New Mexico's 8th-straight top-10 performance at the NCAA Championships — the longest active streak in NCAA Women's Division I Cross Country Championship history.[4]

In 2016, Alice Wright lead the New Mexico Lobos women's cross country team to a seventh place finish in the NCAA Division I cross country Championships.[5]

In 2015, Courtney Frerichs 5th place (19:48.0) lead New Mexico Lobos women's cross country to a NCAA Division I cross country team title scoring 49 points, followed by Alice Wright 6th place (19:53.1), Rhona Auckland 13th place (20:07.1), Calli Thackery 15th place (20:07.3), Molly Renfer 24th place (20:17.5), Heleene Tambet 74th (20:40.4), and Whitney Thornburg 104th place (20:55).[6]

In 2014, Alice Wright lead the New Mexico Lobos women's cross country team to a NCAA Division I cross country team championship title, placing 3rd.[7][8]

In 2013, Alice Wright placed 157th at University of Notre Dame 5k in 19:03.6.[9]

Older sister competed for Great Britain in European Rowing Championships.

Alice Wright won the 3000-meters in 2011 with a personal best of 9:39.

Worcester AC's Alice Wright lead the West Midlands challenge at 2011 London Mini Marathon on Sunday 17 April after convincingly winning the West Midlands Trial race at Stourport Cycle Track in a time of 17 minutes 38 seconds.[12]
