Alexandroupoli railway station
Alexandroupoli railway station or Alexandroupoli Port railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Λιμένα Αλεξανδρούπολης, romanized: Sidirodromikos Stathmos Limena Alexandroupolis) is a railway station of Alexandroupoli in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. The station is located in near the city centre of Alexandroupoli at the Alexandroupoli–Svilengrad railway. Trains coming from Thessaloniki have to reverse for a few hundred meters to reach the station.

History
The station opened in 1874.

The station has waiting rooms, and toilets.
Services
The station is served by InterCity routes to and from Thessaloniki, and from three conventional train services to Dikaia on a daily basis. International services such as the " Friendship Express " for Istanbul via Pythion have been stopped since 2011.[2]
As of 2020, the Thomas Cook European Timetable notes that the station is served by two daily trains from and to Thessaloniki, and by three pairs of regular trains to Dikaia. There are currently no day-time through trains to/from Athens. International services such as the "Friendship Express" to Istanbul via Pythion remain suspended since 2011.[3] Also, there are currently no regular passenger services to Bulgaria.
Between July 2005 and February 2011 the Friendship Express, (an international InterCity train jointly operated by the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) and TrainOSE S.A. linking Istanbul's Sirkeci Terminal, Turkey and Thessaloniki, Greece) made scheduled stops at Alexandroupoli.
