Alexander Armah

Alexander "Alex" Armah Jr. (born May 17, 1994) is an American football fullback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of West Georgia.

Armah attended and played high school football at Dacula High School.[1]

College career

Armah attended and played college football at West Georgia.[2]

Professional career

Armah was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the sixth round, 192nd overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft.[3][4][5] He was waived by the Panthers on September 3, 2017 and was signed to the practice squad the next day.[6] He played in nine games his rookie season, and did not record any statistics. For the 2018 season, he survived training camp roster cuts and was named to the active roster. He made his 2018 debut in the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys. In the 16–8 victory, he scored his first career touchdown on a one-yard rush on his lone carry.[7][8] On November 4, 2018, Armah scored his second career touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He appeared in all 16 games for 2018 season, mainly used as a blocking fullback and a special teamer.[9] In the 2019 season, he appeared in all 16 games and recorded six carries for 11 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.[10]
