Alan Miller (journalist)

Alan C. Miller is an American, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, and president and CEO of the News Literacy Project.[1]

Life

Miller graduated from Wesleyan University. He worked for The Record of Hackensack, New Jersey, and at The Times Union of Albany, New York. He was a reporter with the Los Angeles Times from 1987 to 2008, and at its Washington bureau.

He is on the advisory board of the Center for News Literacy, at Stony Brook University.[2]

The News Literacy Project conducts programs with middle school and high school students, about media literacy.[3]
