Ajeetgarh

Ajeetgarh is a town located in Shrimadhopur tehsil in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, India. A former capital of the jatDynasty of Amarsar, Ajeetgarh was founded in 1627 by the jat ruler Ajeet Singh ,[10] the ruler of Ajeetgarh, after whom the city is named.

Economy

Ajitgarh is the largest Manufacturer & Producer of THRESOR in India. Known for its best Agriculture equipment. It has the largest RIICO Industrial Area in Shrimadhopur Sikar. Its a Golden triangle for Jaipur-Neemkathana-Kotputli.

Places of Interest

There's an Ancient fort Known as Ajitgarh fort located on Jagdishpuri Road Kusumpura Ajitgarh including a BAVDI. SHREE Pacchis Papda Temple, Shree Sai Temple, Shree Shiv Mandir, Shree Kaushalya Das Mandir are very famous religious spots in town. Famous Aravali Mountain Series also passes through Ajitgarh. There is a famous Kalidas temple near Garhtaknet.

Farming

Recently a farmer called Jagdish Chand Pareek was awarded with Padma Shri by the president of India. Jagdish Prasad Pareek cultivated a cauliflower weighing 25.5 kg that put his name in Limca book of world records. He created this variety of cauliflower himself and named it 'Ajitgarh selection' after his village, Ajitgarh.
