Affalterbach

Affalterbach is a municipality in the Ludwigsburg district in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, about 25 km northeast of Stuttgart. The village has around 4500 inhabitants and is known for the headquarter of Mercedes-AMG, the internal tuning division of Daimler AG. The ultra-high tech facility employs Mercedes-AMG's "One Man, One Engine" assembly method but with increasing digitization.[2] The AMG Engine Production Facility and AMG Performance Studio employs nearly 1,700 people in the development and design of AMG vehicles and engine manufacturing as well as administration and sales.[3]
