History
The club was founded in 1986 and joined the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec in 2012.[1] On September 30, 2018 AS Blainville clinched a spot in the 2018 Canadian Championship after securing first place in the 2017 Première Ligue de Soccer du Québec and became the first club from the Première Ligue to be invited to take part in the Canadian Championship, Canada's highest level domestic soccer competition.[2] Blainville beat Oakville Blue Devils in the first round but lost to Ottawa Fury FC in the second round and were eliminated.
Blainville's 2018 PLSQ Championship qualified them for the 2019 Canadian Championship. They were drawn in a two-legged tie against York 9 FC from the new Canadian Premier League. They didn't advance with a 0-1 aggregate score over the two legs.
