- February 9 - Thousands of passengers leave cruise ship after being quarantined for days.[2][3]

- March 24 - Andrew Cheung appointed as Chief Justice of the CFA when Geoffrey Ma retires on 11 January 2021.[4]

- April 9 - Court ruled that it is okay to prohibit face covering at certain "unauthorised assemblies".[5] On the other hand, it is legal to wear masks in permitted assemblies.[6]
