  • January 5 - Thousands of protesters march in the Sheung Shui neighbourhood, leading to dozens of arrests.[1]

  • February 9 - Thousands of passengers leave cruise ship after being quarantined for days.[2][3]

  • April 9 - Court ruled that it is okay to prohibit face covering at certain "unauthorised assemblies".[5] On the other hand, it is legal to wear masks in permitted assemblies.[6]

  • June 19 - the ban on gathering of more than 8 people relaxes to 50 people.[12]
