2020 Tour de Hongrie

The 2020 Tour de Hongrie will be the 41st edition of the Tour de Hongrie, originally held between 13 and 17 May 2020, but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so it will be held from 29 August to 2 September 2020.[1] It will be the sixth edition of the revival in 2015, and is rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2020 UCI Europe Tour.

Classification leadership table

In the 2020 Tour de Hongrie, four jerseys will be awarded. The general classification will be calculated by adding each cyclist's finishing times on each stage. The leader of the general classification will receive a yellow jersey, sponsored by the Hungarian Tourism Agency (WOW Hungary). The winner of this classification will be considered the winner of the race.

The second classification will be the points classification. Riders will be awarded points for finishing in the top fifteen in a stage. Points will also be won in intermediate sprints. The leader of the points classification will be awarded a green jersey, sponsored by Europcar.

There will also be a mountains classification for which points were awarded for reaching the top of a climb before other riders. The climbs will be categorized, in order of increasing difficulty, as third, second and first-category. The leader of the mountains classification will be marked by a red jersey, sponsored by Hungarian Cycling Federation (Bringasport).

The fourth jersey will be a classification for Hungarian riders, marked by a white jersey, sponsored by Cofidis. Only Hungarian riders will be eligible and they will be awarded according to their placement in the general classification of the race.

The final classification will be the team classification, in which the times of the best three cyclists in a team on each stage will be added together; the leading team at the end of the race will be the team with the lowest cumulative time.
