2020 Jackson State Tigers football team

The 2020 Jackson State Tigers football team will represent Jackson State University in the 2020 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Tigers will be led by second-year head coach John Hendrick and will play their home games at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson, Mississippi as members of the East Division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

  1. The NAIA has announced a start date of September 12 for football, meaning that Langston, an NAIA member, will not be able to play this game.[1][2]
  2. This game was originally scheduled to be the 2020 playing of the Southern Heritage Classic, against Tennessee State, but that game was cancelled on June 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] A replacement game against Florida A&M was scheduled on June 25.[4]
