2020 Illinois State Redbirds football team
The 2020 Illinois State Redbirds football team will represent Illinois State University in the 2020 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Previous season
The Redbirds finished the 2019 season 8–4, 5–3 in MVFC play to finish in a three-way tie for third place. They received an at-large bid to the FCS Playoffs where they defeated Southeast Missouri State and Central Arkansas to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to North Dakota State.
