2020 British GT Championship
The 2020 Intelligent Money British GT Championship[1] is the 28th British GT Championship, a sports car championship promoted by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO). The season will begin on 2 August at Oulton Park and finish on 8 November at Silverstone, after nine races held over seven meetings.

Driver changes
GT3
- JMH Automotive were initially going to run John Seale and Jamie Stanley in a Lamborghini but on 2 March 2020 the latter was replaced by Adam Hatfield and Jordan Witt on a revised driver line-up, Witt will race at the Oulton Park, Donington, Spa and Brands Hatch rounds while Hatfield will race at Snetterton and Silverstone.[12]
Entering/re-entering British GT
- Sam Neary will debut with Team ABBA Racing.[4]
- Yelmer Buurman and Patrick Kujala will return to the series driving for Ram Racing, both having last raced in 2018.[3]
- Franck Perera will debut for WPI Motorsport.[7]
- Martin Berry and Nick Foster will debut for Optimum Motorsport.[14]
- Isa Al-Khalifa will debut for 2 Seas Motorsport.[5]
- Rob Collard will debut for Barwell Motorsport.[16]
- Sandy Mitchell will return to the series driving for Barwell Motorsport, having last raced in 2017.[16]
- Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin will return to the series driving for AF Corse, having last raced in 2017.[10]
Changed teams
- Sam de Haan will move from Barwell Motorsport to Ram Racing.[3]
- Angus Fender will move from Century Motorsport to 2 Seas Motorsport.[5]
- Ahmad Al Harthy will return to the series driving for TF Sport.[32]
Leaving British GT
- Rick Parfitt, Jr. will leave the series.
- Jonathan Adam, Ahmad Al Harthy, Tom Canning and Graham Davidson will not participate after Oman Racing with TF Sport were forced to withdraw its' GT3 entries.[10]
GT4
Entering/re-entering British GT
- Euan Hankey will return to the series driving for Balfe Motorsport, both having last raced in 2018.[22]
- Michael Benyahia, Harry Hayek, Katie Milner and Alain Valente will debut in the series driving for Tolman Motorsport, although the driver pairings have not been announced yet.[19]
- Gus Bowers and Chris Wesemael will debut in the series for HHC Motorsport.[27]
- 2008 GT4 Champion Matt Nicoll-Jones will return to the series driving for Academy Motorsports, both having last raced in 2018.[29]
- James Kell will debut for Speedworks Motorsport.[23]
- Ollie Millroy will return to the series driving for Optimum Motorsport, having last raced in 2012.
- James Pickford will return to the series driving for Optimum Motorsport, having last raced in 2011.[25]
- Brendan Iribe will debut in the series driving for Optimum Motorsport.[25]
- Daniel Vaughan will debut in the series driving for TF Sport.[25]
- Matt Cowley will debut in the series driving for Academy Motorsport.[30]
Changed teams
- Ben Hurst will move from Academy Motorsports to Century Motorsport.[26]

- Connor O'Brien will move from Optimum Motorsport to TF Sport.[31]

- Kelvin Fletcher and Martin Plowman will move from GT4 driving for Beechdean AMR to GT3 driving for JRM Racing.[6]
- Nick Jones and Scott Malvern will move from GT4 driving for Team Parker Racing to GT3 driving for the same team.[13]
- Dean MacDonald will move from GT4 driving for HHC Motorsport to GT3 driving for 2 Seas Motorsport.[5]
- Tom Canning will move from GT driving for TF Sport to GT3 driving for the same team.[32]
Team Changes
GT3
- Steller Performance will enter GT3 running an Audi R8 LMS Evo.[18]
- 2019 GT Cup champions JMH Automotive will switch to a full-season entry still running a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo.[11]
- Ram Racing will expand to two-car entry, running a pair of Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evos.[3]
- WPI Motorsport will switch to running a
- Optimum Motorsport will switch from running an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 to running a McLaren 720S GT3.[14]
- G-Cat Racing will switch to a full season entry still running a Porsche 911 GT3 R.[9]
- 2 Seas Motorsport will debut entering a pair of McLaren 720S GT3s.[5]
- Beechdean AMR will expand to a two-car entry in GT3, running two Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3s.[17]
- Oman Racing with TF Sport will not run in GT3 after factors of the COVID-19 Pandemic forced them to withdraw, but their GT4 entries remain.[10]
- AF Corse will return entering a Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo.[10]
GT4
- Optimum Motorsport will switch from running two Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 to running a pair of McLaren 570S GT4s.[24]
- Balfe Motorsport will expand to a full-season two-car entry in GT4, running a pair of McLaren 570S GT4s[20]
- Academy Motorsports will run Multimatic Motorsports' pair of Ford Mustang GT4s.[28]
- 2010 GT4 Champions Speedworks Motorsport will return entering a new Toyota GR Supra GT4.[23]
- Invictus Games Racing will leave the series.
