2019 Kansas City Royals season

The 2019 Kansas City Royals season was the 51st season for the franchise, and their 47th at Kauffman Stadium. They had a 1-game improvement from the previous season, but they were eliminated from postseason contention on August 27. The season would prove to be Ned Yost’s final season as manager as he announced his retirement on September 23 with five games remaining in the season. [1]
