2019 Games of the Small States of Europe
The 2019 Games of the Small States of Europe, also known as the XVIII Games of the Small States of Europe, took place in Budva, Montenegro,[6][7] from 27 May to 1 June 2019.[8][9][10]

Games
The 2019 Games were the first time Montenegro has hosted the event since its inception into the GSSE in 2009.[11]
The Games opened on the 27 May 2019 with around 2000 people attending the ceremony.[12]

Both the Faroe Islands and the Vatican City expressed an interest in participating in the Games but neither have an official Olympic Committee, one of the requirements of participation in the GSSE.[5][13][14]

Venues
- Athletics, basketball was held in the Topolica Sport Hall in Bar.[16][17]
- Bowls was held in the Olympic Park in Budva.[18]
- Judo was held in the SC Cetinje in Cetinje.[19]
- Shooting was held in the SC Rea in Budva and the shooting range in Markovići.[20]
- Swimming was held in the outdoor pool at the Morača Sports Center in Podgorica.[21]
- Table tennis was held in the Župa Hall in Tivat.[22][23]
- Tennis was held in the Slovenska Plaža Tennis Center.[24]
- Volleyball was held in the Morača Sports Center in Podgorica.[25]
