2012 Eastern Illinois Panthers football team

The 2012 Eastern Illinois Panthers football team represented Eastern Illinois University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by first-year head coach Dino Babers and played their home games at O'Brien Stadium. They were a member of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). Eastern Illinois finished the season 7–5 overall and 6–1 in OVC play to be crowned conference champions. They earned the conference's automatic bid into the FCS Playoffs, where they lost in the first round to South Dakota State.
