Summary
Cowdenbeath finished sixth in the Second Division.[1] They reached the fourth round of the Scottish Cup,[2] the second round of the League Cup[3] and were eliminated in the second round of the Challenge Cup.[4]
Management
Cowdenbeath started season 2006–07 under the management of Mixu Paatelainen. On 21 October 2006, Paatelainen resigned to become manager of Finnish club Turun Palloseura.[5] On 30 October, youth coach Brian Welsh was appointed as manager.[6]
