Background

This part of the tour took place in Summer 2003. Williams performed in front of 1.2 million people at 21 shows in Europe. In the United Kingdom, he broke all previous records for ticket sales selling out 375,000 tickets for 3 shows at Knebworth in less than 8 hours.[1] The attendance at these shows set a world record for a run of shows by a single artist. He also performed in Dublin's Phoenix for a crowd of over 120,000. The tour had a massive impact on Robbie's fan base across the continent and boosted sales of the current album Escapology, pushing it into the Top Three in most European countries. The second leg of the European tour was renamed Cock of Justice and took place during Autumn 2003. The final leg of tour in Australia and New Zealand was named Aussie Typo. Additional dates were planned for South America and South Africa but were subsequently cancelled.
