1978 Wyoming gubernatorial election
The Wyoming gubernatorial election of 1978 took place on November 7, 1978. Incumbent Democrat Edgar Herschler ran for a second term as Governor of Wyoming and defeated former Republican State Senator John C. Ostlund by a narrow margin.
