1970 Cal State Fullerton Titans football team

The 1970 Cal State Fullerton Titans football team represented California State College at Fullerton[note 1] during the 1970 NCAA College Division football season. This was the Titans first year fielding a collegiate football team.

  2. California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) was officially known as California State Polytechnic College, Kellogg-Voorhis from 1966 to 1971. However, it was more commonly known as Cal Poly (Pomona).
  3. Southern Utah University was known as Southern Utah State College from 1969 to 1990.
  4. California State University, Northridge was known as San Fernando Valley State College from 1958 to 1971.
  5. The official name of Cal Poly has been California Polytechnic State University since 1947. However, it is more commonly known as either Cal Poly San Luis Obispo or just Cal Poly.
