  1. The Provence Grand Prix was officially cancelled after just 5 of the scheduled 60 laps. This was due to an invasion of the circuit by spectators frustrated with delays to the schedule and the last minute withdrawal of the Talbot team. Chiron's Bugatti was leading when the race was cancelled so is considered to be the unofficial winner.[1]

Championship final standings

Note: To be eligible for the championship, manufacturers had to take part in the European Grand Prix (in Italy) as well as at least two other World Championship Grands Prix.[2]
