17th Filmfare Awards
The 17th Filmfare Awards were held on May 11, 1970.[1] Shakti Samanta's Aradhana won the Best Film award, but ended up with only a couple of awards. Yash Chopra won Best Director for Ittefaq, while Ashok Kumar won Best Actor for Aashirwad.[2]
