Ángel Luis Ríos Matos
Ángel Luis Ríos Matos (born October 5, 1956) is an Puerto Rican priest of the Catholic Church who was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Mayagüez in 2020.

Biography
He has a BA in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. A BA in theology from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia and a PhD in Canon Law from the same university. On January 11, 1985, Ríos Matos was ordained to the priesthood. Pope Francis appointed Ríos Matos bishop for the Diocese of Mayagüez on May 9, 2020.[1][2][3] In 2020, Ríos Matos will be consecrated as a bishop.
