Zobellia galactanovorans is a marine species of Flavobacteriaceae first isolated from a red alga. It is mesophilic, aerobic, non-flagellated, gliding bacterium, that forms yellow colonies, with type strain DsijT (= DSM 12802T = CIP 106680T).[1]
