Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu
Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu is a Jatiya Party politician and Member of Parliament.[1] Born in Raozan Upazila, Chittagong.
Career
Bablu is a former Secretary General of Jatiya Party. He was elected to parliament from Chittagong 9 in 2014.[2][3] He served as a minister in the cabinet of Hussain Muhammad Ershad in the 1980s. He was appointed advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in 2014.[4]
Personal life
Bablu's first wife Farida Sarkar died in 2005 from Cancer. They had a son, Ashik Ahmed, who is now a businessman. He married Mehe Zebunnesa Rahman Tumpa, the daughter of Jatiya Party Member of Parliament and Hussain Muhammad Ershads sister, Merina Rahman in 2017.[5]
