Zhanna Leonidovna Agalakova (Russian: Жанна Леонидовна Агалакова; born December 6, 1965, Kirov, Kirov Oblast, RSFSR, USSR) is a Russian journalist, special correspondent, TV presenter.[1]

Nominee of the TEFI Award (2002).[2] Awarded Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland (2006).[3]

Career

Since 1992, the correspondent of the secular chronicle department of RIA Novosti.[4][5][6] Since 1996 on the channel NTV (Russia)[4][5]

In October 1999, Agalakova was admitted to the Channel One Russia. She conducted daily and evening issues of the program Novosti, as well as the program Vremya.[4][5] Spokesperson from Russia on Eurovision Song Contest 2000. Since 2000 to 2002, together with Vladimir Pozner Agalakova led the TV program Vremena.

Since September 2005 own correspondent of the Channel One Russia in Paris.[7]

Since January 2013 special correspondent of the Channel One Russia in New York.[8][9][10]
