Zaw Htay (Burmese: ဇော်ဌေး, also known as Hmuu Zaw) is the President's spokesperson of the Myanmar President Office, in office from April 2011 to April 2016 under of President Thein Sein. He was reappointed as spokesperson and promoted to Director general of the State State Counsellor's Office, under Aung San Suu Kyi's government at April 2016.[1][2] Zaw Htay is a former major at Myanmar Army, military officer.[3][4][5][6]
