Zajko Zeba (born 22 May 1983) is a former Bosnian footballer who played as a midfielder.[1]

Career

He started his career in Željezničar Sarajevo. He played for the youth side, but never got an opportunity to play for the first team. He went to Olimpic. Good performances produced interest from stronger teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina and resulted in a transfer to Brotnjo. FK Željezničar officials finally recognized his qualities and brought him back to his childhood club on loan in spring of 2004. But after only several months, as a result of new disagreements, he signed a contract with Zrinjski Mostar.[2]

His first foreign club was Slovenian club Maribor. Then he went to the Russian First Division where he played for FC KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny.[3] After a short period in FC Alania Vladikavkaz, he came back to Željezničar Sarajevo, the club in which he had started his football career.

After coming back to Bosnia in early 2015, and signing with FK Sloboda Tuzla, he became the team captain the following season, and helped team hold first position after the autumn part of the 2015–16 season.

International career

Zeba was also a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team and played five games.[4]
