Tyshawn Johnson (born 1999), better known by his stage name Yvng Swag, is an American trap recording artist, dancer and internet personality.[1] He is best known for his videos on the former video-sharing platform Vine,[2][3][4] as well as his Instagram account in which he primarily posts videos of him dancing.

Early life and career

Swag was born in Chestertown, Kent County, Maryland. Swag began as a hip hop dancer at the age of 8 and recognized himself as an "all-around entertainer". Videos of him dancing have been posted by WorldStarHipHop on Instagram, and even Justin Bieber retweeted a video of him dancing. These both helped him blow up and gain popularity. Managed by Nick Cannon,[5][6] he was signed to Atlantic Records in 2017.[2] He described his success in dancing by stating "I could do this too. And it started taking off for me. I was getting a huge fan base."[7][8][9]

His debut EP 32 Teeth was released on November 17, 2017, via Ncredible Entertainment, featuring six songs titled "Smile", "Hit My Phone", "What to Do", "Flock on Me", "I Know", "Stuntin" and "Fall in Luv".[10]
