Yunis Abdelhamid (born 28 September 1987) is a French-born Moroccan professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Ligue 1 side Reims.[1]

Career

Out of contract from Valenciennes FC, Abdelhamid joined Dijon FCO on a three-year contract on 15 May 2016.[2]

Abdulhamid helped Stade de Reims win the 2017–18 Ligue 2, helping promote them to the Ligue 1 for the 2018–19 season.[3]

International career

Abdulhamid was called up to the Morocco national football team for a friendly against Albania national football team, but did not make his debut on September 1, 2016.[4] He made his official debut in a 2–0 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification win over São Tomé and Príncipe.[5]
