Scope

Youth & Society focuses on issues related to the second decade of life. The interdisciplinary journal covers transitional issues from childhood to adolescence and from adolescence to adulthood as well as the social, contextual, and political factors that influence both healthy and harmful adolescent development.

Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Problems: Youth and their challenges have become a recognizable issue for society today. With the constant fast paced life they live in it forces our youth into many stressful and harmful situations. From industrial, environmental, mental, physical, and psychological abilities these issues have proven to be an increase of unhealthy and destructive developments once they begin entering adulthood. As adults we must demonstrate and prepare them for their future endeavors. We need to gather our neighbors, cities, and states and address these youth issues, the more we are involved the more it will spread throughout the public.
