Young Pocahontas is a 1997 short animated direct-to-video film[1] and audiobook.[2]
The film was one of many low-budget direct-to-video mockbuster productions in the 1990s released near the same time as much larger budget theatrical animated films (in this case, the Walt Disney Pictures release Pocahontas).
Synopsis
Pocahontas, a young member of the Powhatan tribe who can speak to animals, finds herself torn between the English explorer and animal lover John Smith, and her fellow tribal members, led by the manipulative Medicine Man.
