"You" is a song by American R&B band, Earth, Wind & Fire, written by David Foster, Brenda Russell and Maurice White. The recording was produced by White for the band's 1980 album Faces.[1]

Released as a single, "You" reached No. 10 on the Hot Soul Singles chart and No. 30 on the Adult Contemporary chart in Billboard Magazine.[2][3]

Cover versions

Jazz singer Nancy Wilson covered "You" on her 1983 album I'll Be a Song.[4]
