Yoshikazu Ono

Yoshikazu Ono (Japanese: 小野 禎一, Hepburn: Ono Yoshikazu) is a Japanese chef who works at Sukiyabashi Jiro under his father, Jiro Ono. He was featured in the 2011 film Jiro Dreams of Sushi. He has a younger brother named Takashi Ono who owns a second establishment in Roppongi Hills. Some prefer this location as it's considered more relaxed. This location has two Michelin stars.

Sukiyabashi Jiro

Yoshikazu works at Sukiyabashi Jiro, a restaurant in Ginzo, Chūō, Tokyo. The restaurant is owned by his father, Jiro, and it is located in a subway station underground. The price is around ¥30,000. The types of sushi vary by season. The restaurant received 3 stars from the Michelin Guide. At the restaurant, Yoshikazu both cooks and purchases fish from local fish markets.

Personal life

He drives an Audi RS6 Avant.[1]

In 2011, Yoshikazu said that women could not be sushi chefs.[2]
