Yishun Secondary School, abbreviated as YSS (Chinese: 义顺中学, PinYin: Yì shùn Zhòng xué) is a government secondary school in Yishun, Singapore. YSS is located at 4 Yishun Street 71. YSS became single session after the completion of a new extension block in 1999. YSS is the first school in Singapore to have established the Applied Learning Programme in Sonic Arts.

History

The school was originally opened in 1986, initially sharing the same premises as Yishun Town Secondary School and Yishun Junior College.[1] It moved into new premises at Yishun Street 21 the same year, and was officially opened by then-MP for Nee Soon Koh Lip Lin on 19 August 1988.[2]
