Yerzhan Kh. Kazykhanov (Ержан Казыханов) (21 August 1964) is the ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United States.[1] Kazykhanov presented his credentials to President Trump on April 24, 2017.[2] Prior, he was Kazakhstan's Ambassador to the UK and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan from April 2011 to September 2012.[3][4]

Kazykhanov is a career diplomat and served as Kazakhstan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2003 to 2007.[5] He is married with two children.
