"Yasashii Akuma" (やさしい悪魔, Sweet Little Devil) is the 14th single release by Japanese girl group Candies, released on March 1, 1977. It sold over 390,000 copies.[1]

The song appeared on their 1977 album Candies 11/2: Yasashii Akuma. The group also sang the title track at the 28th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen.

Promotional dresses were created by singer Ann Lewis (musician).

Covers

The song's composer, Takurō Yoshida, made a cover of the song himself. Kana Mikura of ManaKana made a cover of the song in 2009, on the album "Futari Uta". Mie Kuribayashi made a cover of the B-side, "Anata no Yesterday", in 1999, as did Kyōko Koizumi in 1988. South Korean girl group Orange Caramel covered the title track for their Japanese debut single "Yasashii Akuma" in 2012.
