Yaqubi is a village in Tehsil Razzar, district Swabi, Razzar, Pakistan. The largest village of Swabi is Yarhussain which lies in the north of Yaqubi. Yarhussain is situated on Adena and chota Lahor road. Nothing is known about as why this village is called Yaqubi. This village existed before arrival of the Yousafzai tribe in this area. it can be safely said that it had been founded by the Dalazaak tribe that inhabited this area and were, later on, expelled by the Yousafzais due to tribal feuds.Yaqubi is in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, lying about 25 kilometres from Mardan and 85 kilometres from the provincial capital of Peshawar. The majority of the inhabitants of Yaqubi belong to the Malakzai subsection of Razar, an important branch of the Yousafzai tribe. Meetha Khel, Balar Khel, Nepki Khel, Bacha Khel, Saadaat, Ghareebabad, and Qaaziyaan are important mohallas of village Yaqubi. Maulana Abdul Ali (Sahibe-e-Haq), Maulana Abdul Hai, Hafiz Maulana Abdul Fattah, Syed Massoud Shah Bacha, Malak Sarfaraz Khan, Haji Ajun Khan, Syed Sabzali Shah Bacha, Haji, Diyar Khan, Engineer Qaseemullah Yaqubi and Maulana Namir Khan were the important personalities of this village who played a significant role in various fields of life and contributed to the progress and development of the area.this village is famous for having maintained intact the best traditions Pukhtunwali such as hospitality, jirgah etc. The inhabitants of this village played their roles in the Pakistan Freedom Movement and the Khudai Khidmatgar Movement.
