XBlades Pty. Ltd. is an Australian multinational corporation engaged in the design, development and selling of sporting apparel, primarily related to footwear for Rugby and Australian Rules Football (AFL). XBlades was established when original owner, AFL player and biomechanist David Miers, first saw the connection between the football boots he was wearing and lower leg injuries he had suffered. This led to the iconic bladed sole, the first of its kind worldwide which helped shape not only AFL and Rugby boots but went on to great success international with football.

XBlades has come back to the forefront of Australian sport since 2016 after AFL football star Jimmy Bartel was involved with a change of direction for the company as it changed ownership. It's increased focus on AFL football has lead to XBlades taking responsibility as apparel provider for three new AFL teams (St Kilda, Greater Western Sydney and Gold Coast) as well as a large selection of professional athletes. This expansion also saw XBlades break into several foreign markets for the first time, launching in France, Japan and the USA in 2018.

Recently they have explored compression garments, triathlon, cycling, running, open water swimming and general fitness wear. XBlades also has a division in the United Kingdom, located in Doncaster, that was established in 2012.[1][2][3][4]
